What does 3XL mean?

Love, Love, Love. God loves us. We love God. We love people. From the Bible passages:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Mark 12:29-31 Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

The Journey

3XL was first originally established as a Christian Church (Church 501c3) back in October of 2013. Our vision was to be used by God to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, and make disciples who live a life loving God and loving people Biblically. We transitioned to a Religious Community Development Corporation (Religious 501c3) in 2020, continuing our community outreach programs and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To demonstrate the love of Christ to those struggling financially.

3XL CRIBS

Since September of 2015, every month 3XL has been blessing single moms and families in need with brand new convertible cribs. Cribs are usually the single most expensive item for newborn babies that many families cannot afford. 

3XL has delivered cribs all over San Diego, CA from San Ysidro to Oceanside.  We also have had crib recipients in Redlands, CA and even Texas.

3XL started off with donating 1 crib per month, and now we are averaging between 3-4 cribs per month. 

As of today, 3XL has blessed 201 babies/families with brand new convertible cribs.

 

3XL THANKSGIVING MEAL OUTREACH

Every Thanksgiving Season since 2013, 3XL has teamed up with local schools and a local Vons to bless families in need with complete Thanksgiving Meals that include a whole turkey and classic side dishes. 

Every year there has been an increase of requests for these meals. Each meal package prepared by Vons, feeds an estimated 6 to 8 people.

3XL CHRISTMAS OUTREACH

Since 2018, 3XL has teamed up with local schools and local stores to bless families in need with gift cards so families can purchase food, clothing, essentials, and gifts during the Christmas season.
